Rosa damascena Mill. — Rose Otto
Bulgarian Rose Otto is widely considered the most prized essential oil in the world — a complex, multi-layered floral aromatic distilled from the petals of Rosa damascena, the oil-bearing rose cultivated for centuries in Bulgaria's Rose Valley. Bioform's Rose Damascena essential oil is produced from our own 120 hectare organic plantation, steam distilled on site within hours of harvest to capture the full aromatic and chemical complexity of the fresh blossom.
The oil carries characteristic honey, litchi and floral rose notes, with a rich waxy depth and subtle spice. It is the benchmark ingredient for fine fragrance, luxury skincare, and premium aromatherapy applications worldwide.
